Graduate Student, PBIO Majors Liaison
Lab:
Burke Lab
Research Interests:

My research aims to understand the genetic basis of heat stress resistance in sunflowers. Heat stress is a major limiter of sunflower seed production that is expected to become more severe in the future due to climate change. By studying the impacts of heat stress across multiple genotypes of wild and cultivated sunflower on traits related to yield, I hope to learn more about the genetic basis and evolution of heat stress resistance.
