The Plant Biology Graduate Student Award Endowment (7904100)
Gifts to this account will create a permanent endowment to support graduate students. Once the fund reaches a minimum corpus of $25,000 (or more), the yield will be used to support graduate students with stipends that permit them to concentrate on research and classes in the first year without having to teach. As of June 2015, this fund has reached $16,000 through generous donations form current and emeritus faculty who believe in our departmental mission. We have a goal of reaching $25,000 by August 2017 so that we can start making award to students.
