Graduate students are the lifeblood of the Department of Plant Biology Program. Gifts to the Graduate Student Award (7904100) account will create a permanent endowment to support graduate students. Once it reaches a minimum of $25,000, the yield will be used to support stipends that make it possible for our graduate students to focus on research and classes in the first year. The fund has reached $16,000 through generous donations from current and emeritus faculty who believe in our departmental mission.
