Society of Wetland Scientists

Small Grants (maximum award = $500). The deadline for submissions has been changed from Oct. 17 to a later date, although awards will still be given in May. You can apply up to 3 times on an annual basis and you do not have to be a member of SWS:

"The primary goal of the Scholarship Committee of the Society of Wetland Scientists is to provide partial support of wetland-related research conducted by qualified undergraduate and graduate students from any accredited college or university. Research proposals are judged on how the investigation will contribute to the goals of the Society, primarily, "to foster conservation and understanding of the wetlands."
