Graduate Research Assistant, University of Georgia.  Designed and carried out experiments to advance lab goals, assisted in writing a grant to cover costs of dissertation research, and wrote manuscripts summarizing the results of research.  Fall 2003 – present.

Statistical Consultant, The Nature Conservancy.  Assisted with a research project examining patterns of inundation in two watersheds in the southeastern US.  Spring 2007.

Herbarium Intern, Mississippi Museum of Natural Science.  Assisted with accession a new collection of herbarium specimens.  Spring 2001.

 

Teaching Experience

Teaching Assistant Coordinator, University of Georgia.  Prepared materials for weekly introductory plant biology labs, conducted prep sessions for graduate teaching assistants, wrote lab prep. manual, and maintained WebCT course site.  Fall 2006.

Teaching Assistant, University of Georgia.  Developed lab activities, set up equipment, graded homework, and helped students develop independent research projects for the graduate-level plant physiological ecology class.  Spring 2006, 2008
