Description:An opportunity to learn the basics of botanical illustration from a plant taxonomist who has over 30 years of professional illustration experience. Emphasis on dissection and morphology of flowering plants in the context of producing scientifically accurate representations. Hands-on laboratory exercises with live material. Other goals: familiarity with terminology/descriptions and facility with interpreting illustrations in appropriate references.
