Image: The Department of Plant Biology has teamed up with the Institute of Plant Breeding, Genetics & Genomics to host this year’s annual plant sale. Sale tables will be set up outside of the Tate Center (45 Baxter St., Athens, GA) as well as in front of the Center for Applied Genetic Technologies (CAGT) located at 111 Riverbend Rd. The event will span over two weekends: March 31st & April 1st and April 7th & 8th, from 9am to 6pm. A wide variety of herbs and vegetables will be offered, including varieties recommended by UGA extension services for the greater Athens area . All plants have been grown by UGA students in the UGA greenhouses and sales will benefit the PBIO and IPGG graduate student associations. Presale will be open until March 30th.
