Join us in extending a warm welcome to our two newest Ph.D. students in Plant Biology, Liz Thomas and Deanna Negru!

Liz joins us from the Western New York Land Conservancy and Polly Hill Arboretum in Massachusetts. She is under the co-advisement of Dr. Jill Anderson and Dr. Jenny Cruse-Sanders. Deanna, who completed her Bachelor’s degree here in the Department of Plant Biology at the University of Georgia, is being co-advised by Dr. Shu-Mei Chang and Dr. Jim Leebens-Mack.

We are thrilled to have Liz and Deanna on board. Welcome to the Plant Biology community!
