Research Interests:

I am interested in plant and microbial synthetic biology and how we can engineer the production of more sustainable biomaterials. My research focuses on using synthetic biology tools to engineer fatty acid metabolism in plants, as well as the development of bacterial biosensors to monitor plant root exudates.
