Sarah Saddoris, a third-year PBIO major and PBIO Undergraduate Ambassador, is one of four UGA students to be recognized as a 2019 Barry Goldwater Scholar. This is the highest undergraduate award of its type for the fields of natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering.

Congratulations to Juan Angulo, a PBIO undergraduate, who has received a summer internship at the Chicago Botanic Garden. This NSF-funded 10-week long internship revolves around a project Juan will be conducting by a grad student and his mentor at Northwestern University.
