Group of people

The purpose of Biology Education Research at UGA is to promote research that requires integrated thinking about biology and university education and to develop interdisciplinary scientists engaged in both life sciences research and educational research. We also focus on training and preparing students from diverse backgrounds for a productive career in the Life Sciences by combining insights from science education research with evidence-based teaching practices to optimize the learning outcomes for our students.
